Since 2017 the building has been owned and run by Marsden Community Trust on behalf of the community of Marsden.
Marsden Mechanics is home to Marsden Library & Information Centre, Marsden Community Association, Marsden Jazz Festival and Mikron Theatre Company. We’re also the headline venue for the annual Marsden Jazz Festival.
Facilities
We are a fully licensed venue and offer a range of services:
- Licensed bar with staff
- Professional kitchen facilities
- Main hall with a capacity of 200, available to hire by the hour
- Meeting room for up to 25, available to hire by the hour
- Small Meeting room for up to 10, available to hire by the hour
- Library for up to 50, available to hire by the hour when not in use as a library.
