Marsden Mechanics is pleased to be able to offer a Stay and Play group for parents / carers and their pre-school children.
Adult + 1st child £3.00, subsequent children 50p each.
It is not necessary to reserve your place in advance.
This group is part funded by One Community Thornton Family Fund.

We have Little Valley Play visiting us on the first Monday of each month to run craft activities!

A course on all things drawing. It will include charcoal, pencil work, pen & ink, and more.

This class costs £6/session, and runs from 10.30-12.30

This class will be restarting in February 2024.

Doors 7pm, poetry 7.30pm - 9.30pm. £3

The aim is a social, educational, fun event which is open to all!

Marsden Community Poetry Anthology.

Poetry is often considered “obscure stuff for posh people” but this must change.  Our Anthology, published by Maytree Press, will look at the world of poetry from a different perspective.

For pre-schoolers and their grown-ups: Hanson Arts run a fabulous music group on Thursdays in the library in Marsden Mechanics – come and sing, play and dance to a live band! Drop-in but please book if possible so we know how many are coming.
