Building on shared conversations – what could happen next in Marsden?

This is the second workshop in the Marsden Culture Lab pilot, bringing people back together to reflect on what we heard in the first session and begin shaping ideas for local cultural action.

You don’t need to have attended the first session, but this is a chance to build on shared conversations and help shape what happens next.

What is this session about?

In the first Culture Lab, we explored:

  • What culture means in everyday life in Marsden.
  • What cultural activities help people to learn, develop relationships, build community and live well.
  • What might make it difficult for people to engage in cultural activity.

In this second session, we’ll:

  • Share and reflect back key themes and insights.
  • Develop ideas together.
  • Begin to identify practical actions or next steps.
  • Have opportunity to network.

This is a space for collaboration, imagination and making ideas more concrete.

What to expect:

  • A recap of insights from the first workshop
  • Creative and participatory activities
  • Small group discussions and idea development
  • Opportunities to contribute your voice and perspective
  • A welcoming, informal environment

How does it connect to Culture Labs?

Culture Labs are about moving from conversation → to collaboration → to action

This workshop focuses on that next step, using shared insights to begin shaping possibilities for Marsden.
